Mountain View Care Center is a modern, like home center providing short term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long term care. Our grounds are set on over 80 acres of natural woods and face beautiful Montage Mountain.

The 180-bed facility is a one-story residence with both private and semi-private rooms, two interior court yards, gazebos, indoor waterfall and pond, flower gardens, private and common dining areas, chapel, handicap accessible natural trail and a large private parlor for special occasions.

Working with Community Medical Center Healthcare System, architects and medical specialists, we've implemented the Eden Alternative, a truly new concept in short and long term care. One that focuses entirely on each resident's individual needs. The full range of comprehensive medical services focuses on the health and wealth of our residents.

Mountain View takes special pride in being a home for our residents, not an institution. Our staff is dedicated to providing individual care to each resident. We work together with the resident, family members and an attending physician to develop an individual care plan designed to maintain and improve quality of life.

The core concept of the Eden Alternative is simple: Mountain View is a home for human beings not a facility for the frail and elderly. By using the Eden principles, Mountain View creates an enlivened environment using companion animals and people to succeed where pills and therapies sometimes fail. By addressing loneliness, helplessness and boredom Mountain View Care Center eases the suffering of the elderly.

We created a human habitat where life revolves around close and continued contact with plants, animals and children. It is these relationships that provide young and old alike with a pathway to a life of worth and fulfillment. These principles provide our residents with opportunities that are meaningful and essential to the human spirit and health.
